Navin Prakash, who entered the Bigg Boss house as a commoner has been evicted this week. The man stayed inside the mad cap house for about 26 days and he surely had a memorable stint on the high voltage reality show, which is hosted by Salman Khan. We caught up with Navin post eviction, and in an EXCLUSIVE chat he talked about his journey, his favourite contestants and a lot more. Excerpts from the interview:
First things first, how was your experience inside the Bigg Boss house?
It was a learning experience. I enjoyed my journey and that is more than anything for me. So yeah, it was all good.
Not at all. Nor is there hatred for anyone. In fact, I am happy that I got out of the house at the right time considering I injured my shoulder a couple of days back. It would have been difficult for me to stay anymore with an injury. The only sad part is losing against Rahul Dev.
Do you think he doesn’t deserve to be inside the house at this moment?
Yes. That’s because he never gave his 100 percent in the tasks and neither he supported his fellow teammates. The celebrities are only counting weeks. They want to take their money and leave, but we want to leave a strong impression in the viewers mind.
Talking about money, is it true that the commoners are not being paid for their stint on Bigg Boss 10?
I won’t be able to comment on that. I have signed a NDA, which prohibits me from talking about the money.
You were one of the commoners inside the house, how was it staying with the celebrities?
I was treated well, to be honest. I come from a very small town named Jhajna, which is in Patna. So they all were really curious about how someone from a small town made it to the biggest reality show.
You formed a special friendship with Om Swami…
Yes, it felt bad when he broke down as soon as I was evicted from the show. If you saw, even I was in tears when he was eliminated. Yes, I had a couple of fights with him because I do not agree with some of his thoughts. So more than anything, I was taking care of him, only on the basis of humanity. And I knew about him even before I entered the house. He is the Rakhi Sawant of the babas (laughs). I said that on the show quite a few times. I don’t know if it was shown on television.
You also got a funky makeover from Lopamudra Raut. What are your thoughts on her?
She has been misunderstood, quite often. I found her very sweet. And so is Mona Lisa. She used to give me a head massage everyday. That is something I will always cherish. Mona Lisa might have maintained a low key in the initial weeks, but now she is definitely a strong contender.
Since you were quite close to Mona Lisa, did she ever mention that she is married considering reports about her secret marriage spread like wildfire a couple of days back.
She never talked about the marriage, although she said she has been in a relationship with Vikrant Singh, who is also a Bhojpuri actor. We never really discussed personal matters with each other.
If you were to pick your top three of this season, who would they be?
Gaurav Chopra, Bani J and Manveer Gurjar. The three have been quite active and are playing the game nicely. I would love to see them in the top three.
